About 4 years ago when I started working with the angels, I called on them to help me sleep. I often find it difficult to settle down to sleep. As soon as I asked, I saw a small but bright white light in the shape of a butterfly fluttering on my wardrobe. I didn't have my glasses on, but a voice in my head said, you're seeing one you know. Within minutes I was fast asleep. I couldn't take my eyes off the light and it soon lulled me to sleep.
Then not long after, I woke one morning to see lots of bright white lights fluttering about 6 feet in the air. They reminded me of fairy lights and were absoutely gorgeous. Again, a voice in my head said, it's them you know. I then panicked and they disappeared. I'm certain they only show themselves when we're relaxed and ready, which will explain why I've never seen anything like it before or since. It was what gave me the idea that Spirit exists about 3 feet above our heads, not on a separate planet!
Do you reckon I really did see angels or somesuch? I'd just bought my first and only pack of angel cards and started opening up to them.

what a lovely experience you had! I bet it was angels, they come in all shapes and sizes so i have read. i would love to see an angel but as you said you have to be relaxed. i am always asking them to help me to sleep and within five minutes i am gone. i never see anything but i know they are at work. let me know if you see anything else

Thanks for replying and sorry for not acknowledging it sooner - I lost the url for this site so haven't been on for ages. I've also been doubting the existence of all things supernatural as well and have been totally relaxed as a result. When I think about it all too much, I get spooked and can't sleep! Funny, whenever I doubt, things pop up to make me think otherwise - saw lots of new angel books in a section of a bookstore they wouldn't normally be in, and I got a lovely angel book for Christmas - an angel a day.
